1. Overview of the experiment

Plastic oil bearings adopt the latest solid lubrication technology and can be effectively applied in various harsh dust environments. This test is conducted on commonly used 6204 and 6305 plastic oil bearing models.

2. Test plan

a) Test speed: 300r/min;

b) Dust state: Industrial cement, bearings completely buried in it;

c) Bearing models: 6204 and 6305 plastic oil bearings (new sealing rings), supported by bearings 6203-2RZ;

d) Load condition: 2 sets of 6305 plastic oil bearings are fully loaded; 6204 plastic oil bearing, one set loaded, the other

Set not loaded.

3. Test results

After three consecutive working days of testing (running for 9 hours per day), the ordinary 6203-2RZ support bearing got stuck and failed,the experiment is over. Analyze the bearings and the results are as follows:

3.1 Failure bearing (6203 ordinary bearing)

The cement dust completely enters the gap of the sealing ring and enters the bearing channel, mixing with the lubricating grease, causing the lubricating grease to harden and fail. The running resistance of the bearing increases until it becomes stuck.

3.2 Plastic oil bearing (loaded)

The loading tests of 6204 and 6305 plastic oil bearings can effectively simulate the actual working conditions of the bearings. Three sets of bearings (two sets of 6305 and one set of 6204) are in good condition, without any signs of failure, and the lubricating oil content in the plastic oil material is sufficient to fully meet the same working conditions and environment, with a service life of 2-4 times that of ordinary bearings.

3.3 Plastic oil bearing (unloaded)

Selecting a set of 6204 plastic oil bearings for unloaded testing can effectively test the sealing effect of the new sealing ring. Reason: Due to the rotation of the bearing along the shaft, the sealing ring and the inner and outer rings of the bearing are in a relatively static state, and the sealing effect of the rubber seal is the best at this time.

4. Experimental analysis

Based on the above experimental results, the following conclusions can be drawn:

a) The new bearing sealing method has better sealing performance compared to the original sealing ring;

b) Plastic oil bearings can effectively prevent dust from entering the bearings, leading to the problem of rapid bearing failure;

c) Under the same working conditions, the service life of plastic oil bearings is 2-4 times that of ordinary bearings.
